Nick Jones' boat Puffin This looks like a day-boat that has had a cabin added to me. Does any one know anything else about this boat? Dec, 2008: I have had an email which clarifies the history of Puffin (originally Catherine Louise) which promotes her I think to first place on this list. read the story here and if Nick Jones sees this, could you give me your email so I can put you in touch with her original owner? Read the story here. W5: It's not quite a Winkle Brig. This is called a Westcoast (I think that is the type of boat, the skipper was shouting across the water) called Ratty, which I met in Poole Harbour, May 2007. Built 1983 by Eric Bergqvist at Ferry Boatyard. Appears to be the Winkle Brig hull with quite a different deck superstructure. Is this the fore-father of the Winkle Brig? Does anyone know anything about these boats? WB1: Ian Reynold's Winkle One, owned since new, now for sale. WB6: John Jarvis's Winkle Brig Pelican, in and around Poole Harbour in the south of England before he owned it.
